I am a Vampire

I thought I'd try my hand at this Halloween makeup tutorial malarky. I know that a lot of girls don't like going all out for Halloween, especially as they get older, so I wanted to create a look that uses dramatic colours and pale skin, but is also wearable. If I knew how to get hold of those stick on fang things I would have definitely got them to complete the look! This is what I came up with:

It's been a long time since I tried doing a makeup tutorial so I'm a bit out of practice! But yeah I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out.

I'm up in the woods

Last week I went home for a week because I had a stupid kidney infection. I felt well enough to walk by Saturday so my sister and I went for a lovely Autumnal walk in our local park. There are some really unkempt bits of woodland and some brilliant trees for climbing. We took some pictures of our woodland adventure.

Do you like our tree man? He looks so real...well...almost? 

I do love living in the city but I feel like you don't get to see so much of the seasons round here unless you venture out to somewhere like Hyde Park or even Richmond if you can be bothered. I'm a huge nature freak and I always get excited when the leaves start changing and the trees start producing conkers. 

As much as winter is a pain in the arse sometimes because of the blistering cold, I really love layering and I'm excited to wop out my big old jumpers once again this year. I think that some people forget about Autumn because it's not all that exciting but if you can, I recommend that everyone visits their local park or at least tunes into Autumnwatch some time soon, it's so exciting to see the seasons changing.

I wore this a few days ago but completely forgot to upload. It's getting a bit colder round here so it's time to get the tights and boots out, I'm afraid! I love more dramatic makeup in Autumn/Winter, I feel like you can experiment with a lot more dramatic looks in the day time. I wore this gorgeous berry lipstick with this outfit and I feel like it really added a pop of colour to my face. I'll be sad when I have to tone down the florals, so I'm trying to get that last bit of wear out of all my beautiful skirts, shorts and playsuits before I have to stow them away for the winter :'(.

Welcome to my new fashion/beauty/style blog. I hope it's not too shoddy for your liking. Yesterday I spent most of the day indoors 'working' (struggling with Spanish and going on Facebook), but I wore this outfit out in the evening too. If it was completely up to me I would have dressed it up a bit more with more dramatic eye makeup and perhaps some suede heels in the place of my trusty old boots.
